Global Warming

One of the greatest environmental problems in our time we are facing is global warming. Many researchers believe that excessive emissions of carbon dioxide, as well as other greenhouse gases have a heating impact on the environment and that is very harmful to human existence. Many problems might result from global warming and one of the utmost problems is increasing sea level. This could lead to the flooding of lower lying coastal areas and also cities. Some countries might even vanish completely in near future. Global warming also changes the weather patterns. Many areas of the earth are experiencing severe weather conditions, drought, floods, and other uncommon weather conditions.
Carbon dioxide (C02) is a major constituent of the environment. It is causing a warming effect on the earth’s surface area. It increases the evaporation of water into the atmosphere. Since water vapor itself is a greenhouse gas, this causes a lot more warming. The heating causes more water vapor to be evaporated. The C02 level is expected to grow in the long term because of continuing burning of fossil fuels. Other gases, for example, C02, Sulphur, CFCs, and Methane are also responsible for global warming. Population growth, technological advancement, industrialization, urbanization, and deforestation also are increasing the production of these gases.
Huge population growth is responsible for global warming in many ways. We are utilizing the technologies, burning fossil fuels, coal, lubricate, and gas. A big portion of carbon emission is related to the burning of gasoline in internal-combustion motor of automobiles. Besides, Sulphur cluster gas has the destructive impact on environmental pollution and liable for 30% of global warming. When we cook food, we produce a huge amount of C02.
To conclude, global warming is a serious problem, we have to take proper initiatives to save this mother earth. We have to stop producing more C02. We can do this by reducing the use of oil, coal and gas and we should concentrate on using renewable energy. Additionally, we can plant more trees because trees are very helpful to soak up C02 and at the same time trees generate more Oxygen. When we generate electricity, we produce a huge amount of C02 simultaneously. We have to use less energy and electricity. We have to avoid producing a great amount of C02, Sulphur, CFCs, and Methane gases as they are harmful to the environment.

Dowry System in India and Nepal

By

In  Indian and Nepal society there are numerous problems like superstitions, illiteracy, cast system and dowry system, etc.
It is surprising that even in these days of the 21th century, we are still drowned in the dark depth of these evils.
One of the worst evils of Indian Society is the dowry system. The word ‘dowry’ means the property and money that a bride brings to her husband’s house at the time of her marriage. It is a custom that is prevalent in all the sections of our society in one form or the other. At the beginning it was voluntary, but later on the social pressure was such that very few could escape from it.
The dowry at present is a source of both joy and curse in the society. It is also a joy to the husband and his relatives who get cash, costly dress and utensils, furniture, bedding materials, etc. But, it is a curse to the bride’s parents who have to bear enormous cost to satisfy the unreasonable demands of the bridegroom’s party. A demand of dowry does not diminish even after marriage. The in-laws of the bride are very much ready in Indian homes to inflict harassment, insults and tortures-both mental and physical. When more pressure is put on the bride’s parents, their dear daughter has no other option but to commit suicide to avoid more insult and torture at the hands of the members of her husband’s family.
This curse of Dowry System must be eradicated forth with at any cost. Women from every walk of life, literate or illiterate, poor or rich, young or old must unite together and come forward to protect their own honour and interest. Though the Government has promulgated certain anti-dowry laws, these have not produced the desired results. People’s efforts are also necessary if this evil is to be removed once for all. The high expenditure of the marriage ceremony must be cut down.
Women must be empowered. Gender-based inequality should be completely abolished and the position of women in the society should be raised. Women must be taught since girlhood that their life is not useless without marriage.
Girls should get the opportunity to get education at schools. After completion of school education, they should be encouraged to have higher education. Proper education of girls would be helpful in educating girls and women of their rights. Their age of marriage should be raised. They should be encouraged to enter into various fields of paid jobs, as their higher economic status also discourages demands for dowry. The practice of mass marriage should be encouraged for the sake of economy.

Corruption in Nepal

Corruption is intellectually defined as misuse of power. We all know Nepal is a poor country. For self development our country can’t afford self investment, etc. For that we are depended on other countries rich and powerful than our. But all the help and loan taken and given to our country are not for the actual purposes of them.
Most of the equipments are taken by people in power and self development is done by them. Thus country remains in backstage without development as it was and it is. Similarly the other form of corruption is bribery. The persons who are kept to do work for the people in government office don’t move single step without commission (named as) which is bribe and people also give them their requirements for the completion of their work. Since bribery is a part of corruption. Such habit decreases the status of our country.
In today’s time Nepal is the corrupted country and is in list of UNO. Corruption is increasing day by day and decreasing the rate of development and social status. Thus it is a serious problem and should be stopped.

Key points (outline), which you can include/use to write about corruption.
  • Corruption is like communicable disease which transfers easily from one mind or people to another mind or people. It can be stopped by raising public awareness.
  • Nepal is a corruption-less country. This sentence itself is a corrupted sentence.
  • The chain of corruption in Nepal from low level to high level is increasing in such a way that, if we try to eliminate corruption and corrupted people, most of the politician, government employees may not be seen and the politics of Nepal may come to halt.
  • The biggest (revealed) corruption issue in Nepal up to now is the corruption of 34 crore 50 lakhs allocated for Nepal Police recruited for UN peace project in Sudan. This huge amount of corruption showed how corrupted is the administration of Nepal. Due to this, the relation status of Nepal with other country in world is being decreased gradually.
